Live Crickets
Crickets are the classic feeder for a reason. They're active, they get a strong feeding response, and they work for a huge range of animals: leopard geckos, bearded dragons, frogs, chameleons, tarantulas and more. We carry small, medium and large, so you can match the cricket to your animal.
Tips from our team:
- Pick a cricket no longer than the space between your animal's eyes.
- Gut load them for 24 hours before feeding, and dust with calcium right before they go in.
- Keep them in a ventilated container with food and a water source. Use water crystals or a cricket drink, not an open dish, so they don't drown.
- Take out any crickets your animal doesn't eat. Left in overnight, they can nibble on a sleeping pet.
