• I have a massive Millipede and Isopod collection. I also have a Shingleback Skink named Wish.

Selling a family their first reptile.

To be able to teach and educate people on the hobby. To be able to give back to our community.

Fun fact about me:

Snakes are my least favorite reptiles.

Hobbies:

Spending time with my family, Disney, the beach, hanging with Wish, and caring for my millipedes and isopods.

My favorite part about working at the Tye-Dyed Iguana is creating naturalistic vivariums for all of the animals.

Fun fact about me:

The first time I got onto a plane I flew to the other side of the world.

Hobbies:

Building terrariums, herping, hiking, kayaking, fishing, snowboarding, and riding motorcycles.

Taking care of the babies from the incubator, being able to watch them hatch out and raise them.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry.

Interacting with different animals and seeing the excitement of people seeing reptiles / exotic animals for the first time.

Learning what I can about the industry and helping end the stigma against reptiles. Teaching others on proper care for them.

Fun fact about me:

I have a split tongue. I practice tattooing on my self. Grow carious species of cacti and peppers. Enjoys taxidermy.

Art. Collecting oddities. Photography. Watching horror movies. Eating extremely spicy foods.

I was adopted when I was 17 years old.

Painting, fishing, photography, hiking, kayaking, learning to pair tarantulas.

• Collin has kept an extensive collection of reptiles and aquatics over the years. His current interests include high end bearded dragon dragon morphs, large constrictors, and a variety of chelonians. Collin also has a special interest in saltwater reef tanks and large aquaria.

The favorite part of my job is our amazing customers!

Personal Mission:

My personal mission at TDI is to promote correct reptile husbandry and elevate the standard for our industry. I take tremendous pride in introducing folks to our wonderful hobby in a positive manner!

I've been known to down Wikipedia rabbit holes!

When he isn't caring for his reptiles or fish, Collin also has special passion for parrots.

I love being hands-on with the animals here. It allows me to connect with and learn more about them. Each animal has unique personalities, and I couldn’t love them more!

Personal Mission:

I’m passionate about learning about my interests. I hope to grow in my position and learn (and teach) more about the animals I’m helping to care for.

Fun fact about me:

I’ll never stop talking about my internship at the St. Louis Zoo’s insectarium during my senior year of high school. It was a childhood dream of mine to be part of the animal care team there, so I was pretty starstruck the entire time I worked there.

Hobbies:

I play guitar quite often and write a few small songs occasionally. I also enjoy creating art. I draw a lot and, when I have the chance, I make skulls out of cardboard (it sounds weird, but it’s a fun puzzle for me).

When I was about 7 years old I had my birthday at TDI and told my mom I wanted to work there. Well surprise! I do now!

Hobbies:

I am a TNR enthusiast! Meaning I help feral community cats get the medical care they need and also spay & nueter them.
